I provide creative play and art interventions through mediums such as, art, clay, games, lego and sand tray, as well as life story and narrative activities adapted to children’s needs and stage of development. I use strength-based approaches and have experience working with neurodiversity and non-verbal communication. I use a wide range of resources and visual materials to support the exploration of emotions and to aid understanding.

I am a trauma-informed practitioner and I have experience working with anxiety, anger, defiance, self-harm, behavioural and relational difficulties.

I offer initial, mid-way and ending review meetings and consultations for support and guidance to parents and carers.

I have considerable experience of working in school settings to provide special educational needs advice and support to parents and carers, and tailored emotional and mental health support for children. Support may include guidance on coping strategies, identity, resilience and self-esteem-building, and recommendations of further support services.
